Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer

Appalachian mountain dulcimer players- make friends, share, learn to play- Free!

I have posted a picture of a quilted bag my wife made me for my mountain dulcimer. We have named them Comfort Bags because they comfort your instrument! If anyone is interested in purchasing a bag you can send me a message or go to my website at www.dulcimerxing.com and send me a request through the email listed there. The bags cost 30.00 plus shipping. We can also make bags for ginger dulcimers as well as uke bags. The bags can be made with or without a strap for carrying it over your shoulder.

Where is the picture of the bag? Not on your website either.

on the website click on the Homer Bookstore page, scroll down and you will see a picture of the bag along with my Warren May Dulcimer. Right now it is a basic 1 dimensional view. I will need to take some other shots in the future and post them as well. You can also see the bag on FOTMD sight under my photos or on my page.

I'm interested in a bag, but I can't for the life of me find one on your web site.

You can email me at dfwaldropdulcimerstories@yahoo.com and I can email pictures of what we have available.

I have a main blog for Traditional style mountain dulcimer playing here: Mountain Dulcimer Noter-drone Blog This is an old style of playing where you only fret your notes on the melody string, while letting the drones strings ring open. In my blog, I express my personal views about playing, I offer free TAB and free beginner videos, and I try to help beginners understand in a very basic simple way the 'mysteries' of playing the mountain dulcimer in traditional modal noter/drone style.
