I will definitely try to catch this live. :)

Sticky note already done!  Break a leg y'all!!!!

I will try to catch this as well. Making myself a note. Now if I just remember to check it!

Thanks y'all!  It's live, so I hope we don't stink-up the place lol!

Hope they post an on-line version.  Going to the Mountaineer Dulcimer Club's Jam Saturday at 10.

Rob, it's not until the 16th (unless that's the date you were talking about).  If anyone has a way to actually record the show for us it would be MUCH appreciated.    Just let me know (and thanks)!

Ooh, I can't wait! Oh, wait, I guess I'll have to! By the way, you can record streaming audio with Audacity. It's best not to use your computer while you're recording, however, since any key clicks or computer sounds will be picked up on the recording. The program is pretty early over here, but Keith seemed confident that we'd be able to record it, so he probably either knows how to time the recording, or he can figure it out. He is a programmer, after all.

PS: The only way you two could stink up the place is if you forget to bathe!

Thanks Steph!  I'm not sure that I have "every" confidence in my ability to record the live broadcast, but hopefully they'll stream it.  If they do, then I'll know how to record it that way!

Well, we're going to have to try to record it if it's not certain that they'll stream the show later, but I'd feel more comfortable if someone else tried to record it for you guys as well, just in case something goes wrong on our end. Too much pressure...

I hear ya lol!  Computer Guru is something that I've never been accused of lol!

I bet they would if you attached strings to it! Seriously, I tend to think that a lot of people's problems with computers are caused by sheer intimidation. But then, Keith and I both had parents who were early adopters, back when home computers were both primitive and decidedly unuser-friendly. At any rate, Keith is going to run some tests to make sure that we'll be able to record it. We'll let you know how they turn out.

I have a main blog for Traditional style mountain dulcimer playing here: Mountain Dulcimer Noter-drone Blog This is an old style of playing where you only fret your notes on the melody string, while letting the drones strings ring open. In my blog, I express my personal views about playing, I offer free TAB and free beginner videos, and I try to help beginners understand in a very basic simple way the 'mysteries' of playing the mountain dulcimer in traditional modal noter/drone style.
